MAX2361 and all products in the MAX236X series are a complete orthogonal transmitter. On chip integrated orthogonal modulator, PM860AK01 variable gain intermediate frequency (IF) and radio frequency (RF) amplifier, mirror suppression upconversion mixer, and dual channel RF and IF frequency synthesizer.

The MAX2361 transmitter is designed for dual band operation, supporting cellular AMPS, PCS, cellular code division multiple access (CDMA), and broadband code division multiple access (W-CDMA). Program the required operating mode using a three wire serial bus. PM860AK01 includes two intermediate frequency voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs), two intermediate frequency input and output ports, two radio frequency local oscillator (LO) input ports, and three power amplifier (PA) driver ports, without the need for off chip frequency band switching hardware.
