Visual signalers provide alarms to indicate important information to users, such as warnings or alerts about target events, conditions, or alarms during the process. The visual indicators in daily life of HP 5517B usually use LEDs or other light-emitting devices to attract attention through graphic display of information. In industrial or manufacturing environments, chimneys or lighthouses are devices used to convey alarm states. Figure 1 shows a typical optical stack.

Each color can be activated by a PLC triggered by an event, typically using discrete inputs or network communication (IO Link is common) for manual or automatic activation. Provide separate control lines to operate each stacked light segment. Connect the control line to the appropriate PLC output terminal. A power supply is required to provide working voltage for the stacked light fixture of the signal light, as shown in the typical wiring diagram below.

The method to be used in building our visual signal will use a programmable LCD unit that can display alarm states of various colors. LCD displays not only display colors, but also text information. The system concept uses four ready-made components:
