Description
There are multiple common types of user unit distribution panels.
The main switch electrical equipment is considered one of the safest and most robust input power protection devices. PM851A 3BSE66485R2, all circuits are completely separated, and each circuit is independently grounded for leakage protection through RCBOs (residual current circuit breakers with overcurrent protection)
The dual RCD consumer unit has decreased in terms of protection ability, but it is still suitable for most standard uses. They consist of two circuit groups, each consisting of a pair of residual current device circuit breakers. These provide strong protection against overheating, electrical fires, or accidental contact with live wires
High integrity user units are more common in large buildings, where a large number of sub circuits branch out from the input main power source. They combine dual RCD protection with additional RCBOs that can be added to various flexible configurations
In addition to user units, there are various other types of distribution boards and distribution boards that are widely used.
The A-type and B-type distribution boards offer different bus configurations, PM851A 3BSE66485R2, and different compatibility with certain overcurrent protection devices (OCPDs). The correct type of DP to be used when choosing to install it in commercial or industrial locations will depend on compliance with various specific specifications and standards. You also need to consider some factors, such as general operating conditions and environmental factors, as well as any ongoing accessibility requirements.
A sub distribution board or sub board is usually a smaller circuit breaker panel as an accessory to a larger DP. Similarly, this can better control and isolate subsets of smaller circuits and circuit breakers. A common example may be the RCD input user unit, which itself does not have a main switch. This is usually located on the larger distribution board served by the sub board.
